Default Trim around window

I just painted my car, but this trim is old and cracked up. Is there any way to replace this or make it better looking? I've though about just painting it black.

Isn't there another way that replacing them? Doesn't anyone just paint it? I was just thinking about painting them black. Maybe there's a black plastic or rubber strip that can cover it.

arent they made out of aluminum folks..you can test it with a magnet..if it sticks it's metal..if not it will more than likely be made of aluminum..and there is paint for that...

Doesn't matter what it is. I'm sure I can paint it, but it's got that plastic crap that cracks and breaks away. Dont know if it's something than can come off.

Hondapartsnow.com has everything OEM for your car and I would believe that something like that would be available. That's my 2 cents! I'm a fellow honda dude looking to restore his car as well. So I know how you feel on trying to figure out what to do on a tricky part of the car.

Paint and clear $170. Then there's all the stuff like tape, plastic cover, and things. I painted so no labor cost.
