Default What's your opinion of the Kaminari body kit?

Hey I came across an orange Accord (5th gen) online and I think it looks pretty cool. Anyway, I'm not a big fan of body kits, but I saw the Kaminari body kit on the Accord, and what's your opinion of the kit compared to other body kits? If I don't get a kit, then I might get some side skirts. Anyway, post away!

I think it's a well made kit, but personally I'm not a fan of adding a line where it attaches to the OEM stuff. I prefer full bumpers and seams to be aligned with existing lines.

are you talking about this one?

IMO the front sticks out way too far, but thats just me, but i dont like body kits, as a whole they are fading away and being replaced by lip kits.

I dunno, body kits seem a little too teenager-ish now, don't they? I mean, they look nothing like the serious racer's cars out there. Not that I'm saying it isn't ok to express yourself artistically with your car or anything. I think the styles now are leaning more towards the pro JDM look. Besides, if you consider how much money you'll spend on a full body kit, imagine how much horsepower you could have gained with the same cash dumped into the motor...

Motor/turbo work takes amny times as much money as a body kit and paint.

Yeah I didn't really like the way the front bumper looks. Well, what about a lip kit? What are some good lip kits out there?

Lip kits FTW! Body kits are overkill and ruin virtually every car. I saw a yellow mustang RICED out today with a nasty body kit. It's a shame what some people think is stylish.
