Default Where to get the Duplicate Keys for 2004 Accord

Hello all:

I was wondering if anybody knows where I can get my transponder key for 2004 Honda Accord duplcated for cheap. The dealer is charging me more than $150 for the key and programming. I don't think it should cost that much.

Thanks.

I've got a feeling that a Honda dealer will be your only choice. Try different dealers and get their pricing.

I believe that Tex is correct..

Some of my customers have asked me about this and I called my 2 local Honda Dealers and they said that they could do it and only they could...

Welcome to the forums...

i know that pretty much any car with a "sentry key", with the chip, HAS to be done by a dealership...unless you know someone who owns the expensive little box that does the programming..

Yes you have to go to the dealership. modern day car keys are equiped with microchips specific to only your car and only the dealership can duplicate the codes.
