Default Wipers...

Anyone ever spray paint their windsheild wipers?
Mine are a little worn out, which makes them look silver. (So i have black and silver wipers)
So i was thinking why not spray the entire wiper silver.

Would this be a good idea? Mom said they may stop working, but i just think she doesnt want me to do it. So i want to make sure nothing might happen so i dont have to hear an "I told you so"

And how much would it be to replace a windsheild? Just curious.

Yes you can paint them. Just make sure to remove them from the car first. Sand them down and tape up the blade itself so that you don't get paint on it. Silver????? I don't know how that would look....What color is your car????

The car is black (dark dark purple). It looks black.

I was just goin to newspaper the windshield, and leave the wiper on the car. No paint should get on the blade that way.
How much should i sand it down? Til its all that silver rust color?

Take the wiper arms off the car and paint them...tha'ts an order, or you will more than likely be spraying your car also...

i think youll be alot safer if you try to take the wiper arms off
it might even come out better because you can sand, clean, primer, and paint without worrying about any of it gettin on your car
