Default '00 accord factory radio won't tune in

hi!

first of all i'd like to thank you all for providing help with accord related problems, you've been a huge help

now i'd like to ask what's up with the radio in my '00 accord. tape deck works, cd works but the radio has one porblem: the radio works at times but most of the time it just seeks for a station but won't tune in. problem with the antenna?

It could be a stuck or intermittent "seek" button. To fix would require disassembly. cleaning and reassembly w/ no garuntee of a fix. Sometimes a judiciouis application of WD40 or switch cleaner will "repair" a problem. Not much downside.

Most don't want to invest such effort in old radio and replace w/ new or used. You can find new aftermarket and used identical radios for very reasonable prices. check car-part.com and ebay for replacements.

good luck
