Hi,just bought an '03 EX V6,71K on itfrom CARMAX. Great customer service BTW..

Speakers sound a tad scratchy(moreso when using radio than CD's).Is it worth upgrading the whole stereo system,speakers and all?Seems like it would cost an arm and a led.I cannot do it myself.

depends on if you want louder sound.....you could just upgrade to an aftermarket cd player, you might get a better reception.. but i still use my stock HU and have no problems with the radio except when im out of range of the station...maybe you should look intoXM radio...

 

Thanks.I think I hear the scratchyness even when playing CD's. Prbably the speakers,right?

What can I expectto pay if I want all new spekers installed?Also,I guess any good service staion will be able to test if it is in fact th radio,true?

just replace the speakers to start...you can get a good set for 150-200 with the adapters...and you can do it yourself...its quite easy...
