04 in need of stereo upgrade, few questions...
Ok so last year I purchased a 2004 Accord DX, my fourth, and nicest Accord to date. Each Accord I had before this one was preowned by people with similar tastes in stereo head units. My new 04, however, only has a factory, single disc, am/fm unit with no mp3 playback or device connectivity. I'd like to upgrade the entire audio system, but I'd of course like to start with a head unit. So here are my questions:
I know what kind of mounting kit to purchase for the car to fit a standard aftermarket unit, but are they easy to remove and install? Or is it something I should pay someone to do? If so, any recommendations on where I can take it? I love the interior look and feel of the 04, and I'd love a unit that matches the flow. Have any 04 owners gone aftermarket? Any suggestions on reasonably priced and featured units? I'd appreciate any feedback or suggestions, thanks! |
Someone has done that I'm sure..just have to wait till they come in and give you an answer about it..Good Luck:)

For a novice, it will take a lot longer and require purchase of tools. |
