Default 2005 Accord stereo change

Hi

I am new to the site. I have tried searching for the topic about the stereo but couldn't find it.

I recently bought a 2005 Accord EX-L.

I want to change the stereo system in my car. I am so used to MP3 cd's or ipod.

I have noticed that the screen of the stereo in accord also shows heating and AC information. so my dilemma is if I change the stereo what will happen to those information how will those be displayed and how would I know what setting it is running on. any idea?

has anyone ever changed the deck in their Accord 2005 model or similar?

the head unit is the stereo. you will need to pull your cubby as well as the vent cover on your dash. this will expose the screws. pull those screws and the radio will come out. the input is on the back of the radio. here is a video on removal on a 7th gen.

no they are not all the same. unfortunately i have never used one so I dont know which to recommend. Keep hope Alive recommends a specific one all the time. I dont remember which one but if you look through the forum you should be able to find where he has recommended one.
