Hey everyone,

I have a 2008 Honda Accord sedan that I installed subs and amp in. (Kicker ZX400.1 & 10" L5 Solobaric) Everything works fine except that the only way my subs receive the appropriate signal is to change the balance from Center to either Left 1+ or Right 1+. I am drawing the signal from my rear speakers to my high level inputs on my amp. Does Honda have some sort of weird stereo signal system on the new Accords? I appreciate any help you can give me. In the meantime, I am going to try installing a DSP and see if that helps my situation. Thanks in advance.

 

Again...little to no knowledge on the 08s. I havent heard of anything like that. Hey, at least it plays mp3s now.

just wait, you never know until the 2nd half of production like they did on the 06-07.

 

very true....maybe they'll put it on a diet by then too. haha

 

^ haha i doubt it. Maybe projectors on the sedan would be more likely.

I installed a line out converter and it seems to have improved my situation but not completely fixed it. I get under-average signal to my amp and sub. It works but should be somewhat louder. (amp gain and loc gain have been adjusted accordingly)
