Unhappy 2009 Accord Installed custom system (need help)

I have a 2009 accord and recently installed a couple of amps and subs to the stock radio. When driving i get alot of static and noise from the subs. It sounds like a rapid beating comming fr the subs, and when i hit the gas it goes away, but shortly comes back. The lower i turn my amp down the less static i get but it is still there. I had a similar system hooked up to my 2008 accord with no problems. My upgraded 2009 accord has a cd changer and the 08 did not. that is the only diff in radio's. Please help me out. They put a noise reducer and it helped but does not fully work. Any Ideas, i dont want to get a new radio but am willing too if i cant fix this problem.

what are you using for a line output converter or head unit interface? remote-turn on? how are you giving the amp a signal? where did you tap factory wires?

Make sure your grounds on everything are good. Sand off the paint of the location where the grounds are made.

I had bad noise problems in my aftermarket head unit. However, this time it was the head unit and I am going to have to send it back for warranty. I did a direct swap with another same brand head unit and the noise went away.

But try fixing the grounds first since this is a stock head unit.

I don't know all the technical stuff of how and where's it's hooked up too but I did take it to diff stereo shops and they both could not fix the problem. It's funny because on my 08 accord everything was hooked up the same way and I had no prob with the system. I will take a look at and try to see what I could do about the grounds. Thanks for the input and help fellas...

if you don't understand how you're getting a signal - you can't trouble shoot the system. that is a very important aspect and probably the key to your problem. call the shops you took the car to, talk to the installer that looked at the car, and ask them those questions.

you may need to buy a new OEM interface because of the differences in factory amplification. for example - the PAC interface AOEM-HON20 for 2008 is not compatible with 2009.

i think it's incorrect to assume what you used before is compatible with the new vehicle.

Uh oh, did you just say that the HON20 for the 2008 is NOT compatible with the 2009?

Is this a serious question?
