I have a '04 DX that unfortunately came without keyless entry so I added it on with a 3rd party system (the brand is Carbine).

I am going to get a spare key for my car and wanted to know if it would be possible to take the internals of my 3rd party FOB and put it inside something like this:

No your honda key has an RFID that is required to enable the ignition system. So if you take that out the key won't be bale to start the engine. Besides if the buttons aren't identical how would you expect it to line up in the new case?
