Please do at least a quick search before posting. Yes it is possible to add navigation to your car, but the navi HU is just one part of the system. There are several other components you would need and it is not very cheap, or a quick and simple install.

I am really sorry but i have looked around the forum, and maybe i am not using the right keyword or something but i haven't managed to find information on the procedure i want to perform

So my question is, if i manage to buy of Ebay a Nav capable HU, what else will i need in order to install it in my car ?
also will i be able to change the nav database to a different country ?

I just want to make my end game clear: i want to be able to connect my Iphone 3gs and see the text on the screen + have a built in NAV system installed.

again sorry for not finding the relevant information by my self on the forum i am new to this car and to this domain in general.

thanks.

Sigh... A quick search under "navigation" pulled up a ton of threads with info you need, HERE is just one of them.

To get text with the ipod you need a ipod interface, and a HU or Navi with XM installed. Without the XM HU it will just say "Disc X - Track X"
