i have 03 accord coupe and i just want to install honda oem navigation system

can i do that in Canada?

 

This feat can be done in Canada... however... yes there is a catch... you need to buy a Canadian head unit which wasn't introduced in until 2005. Technically the US model will work, but you'll have issues with the metric/standard conversions with the temp and milage. Other than that, you should be good provided you have all the right wiring harnesses and know how to disassemble/reassemble your dash and route all the wiring to the trunk.

 

I wanted to do the same and wondering where you guys get subdisplay ?
It is needed to display some info and entere security code...

 

the subdisplay can be purchased off ebay, but it is rarely available by itself. Another place to hunt is http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com/ -- they have a great search tool, and pretty much everything you could possibly want.

For example: the subdisplay for a 2005 accord is listed under "INSTRUMENT PANEL GARNISH (DRIVER SIDE)";
1429160 008 1 PANEL (UPPER) UA BLACK METALLIC 88.45 61.91They list the Honda dealer price in black and their price in blue.

Im an ex parts man from GM to Mopar to Aftermarket so I know how important it is to have pictures so you know your getting the right parts when you dont know the "Dealer" name for it.
