Default CD won't insert... Help!!!

Hey i'm new to this forum... I just got my 03 accord coupe ex today and the stereo didnt work. I entered the five-digit code and got that going, but then when i tried to insert a cd it wouldnt go in. I pressed eject, thinking it's filled up, but nothing came out. Any ideas how to fix this??? Thanks for your help...

If it's broken it's broken, no way for you to fix it. The stealership will charge you an arm and a leg for a new one. Now if there are CDs in there will it play them? If it won't there prolly arn't CDs in there, or it's just completely ****ed. That mechanism is very flimsy and is common to failure on all slot loading drives. Your going to have to replace the unit with either an aftermarket or an OEM unit. I have a 2006 OEM 6 cd changer unit that will fit your car if you are interested, I even have the AUX input adapter.

Now you have to press the "load" button and wait for the green light before you can insert the CD, maybe that's your problem.

Yeah I pressed the load button and held it down but nothing happens.
How much are you selling your unit for?

Thanks.

For HAF members I'm willing to give it away for $200 shipped with the AUX input adapter. The HU alone goes for a bit more on ebay, and the interface is worth $90. I just haven't put it up on ebay as I'm just about the biggest procrastinator around. My forsale thread can be found HERE
