The door handle has to ride up against it at the back.. since it broke, I have to press it down at the back while pulling it in order to open the door--- since I am going to be selling it, I think people would make a big deal of that. I don't have access to a salvaged piece- can I acquire a new one anywhere??

Looks like the external door latch is available as an assy (parts 20, 30).

Download a shop manual for guidance from DIY forum, Online Manuals post. Any year 90-93 should work.

Ah, a much easier problem. I believe the plastic recessed door handle trim piece has broken?

If yes, this piece is readily available for a few bucks on ebay. See following.

There are probably others but this was first one I found.
