Is it possible to play MP3 cd's inthe 05 Accord's Stock 6CD changer? I can play cds with mp3's on it, but not with hella songs on one disc. I would use an iPod instead, but I can't use it in my car yet.

CD-Rs, yes. I have not tried a CD-RW.

 

But becareful, I have been having issues with my stock HU reading CD-R's. Sometimes I can't even skip tracks or it will get all crazy on me and display and flash "disc"

Anyone got any idea's to fix this problem?

 

What year is your vehicle?

I remember years ago some head units (aftermarket and OEM) had problems reading off-brand CD-Rs, or CD-Rs that were a certain color. Unfortunately, I cant remember the details of that anymore.

I thought it was an issue with the different types of CD-R but, it has started to happen with all my newly burned CD's. I wonder if the burning program has anything to do with it. Thats why I want to just switch to an MP3 Player to not even use the CD player anymore.

 

what burning program do you use? I broke down and purchased a copy of Nero a couple years back, and really havent had any issues in any CD players. The Windows stuff sucks a phatty.

 

Yeah I use Nero but I have 2 different versions. One that actually came with the CD Writer that I have and a newer version. 7.012 Ultra Edition I think. All good, I intend to switch to mp3 sooner or later
