all of them at once, or one at a time?

did you verify your fuses are in tact - with a volt meter?

all of them started to flicker on and off and then they completely turned off. The srs, check engine light, etc all still work though. I haven't done it with a voltmeter but I changed out the fuses for it and it still doesn't work

could be a loose connection at the harness, could be a short, etc. but it's associated with the wiring and fusing - not the lamps themselves. the indicators are usually a separate fuse from the dash illumination which is why they still work.

it could also be a bad dimmer pot - there is usually a **** that allows you to adjust the brighness of your dash lights. if that fails, it can cause this problem also. try playing with that **** and see if you can get them to come back on.

did you install an aftermarket radio at that time?

lol. yes. if you connected the illumination wire incorrectly it would turn off your dash lights.

what did you do with the orange wires in the radio harness? (orange/white and orange/black and maybe just orange)

Well, what if your dash lights didn't work before the aftermarket radio? My dash lights in the middle ( AC controls. etc.) 90 % of the time don't work. But some days they will. for about one drive.
