dash lights not working

Yes, ground connection was perfect as well. I'll look into the MCU / recall. Thanks very much for the help. I will post back on here if I manage to fix everything.

Default Illumination/Dimmer problems

I accidentally connected the orange/white dimmer from the wiring harness to the orange/white coming out of the aftermarket head unit. My dash and gauge lights and my tail lights dont work. I rewired it correctly, connecting the solid orange from the harness to the orange/white out of the HU. Still no luck with the dash lights and tail lights. Did i short them out completely and what do i do?

What year and model? Check fuses first. If this is a 1998 -2002, worse case scenario is blown Multiplex Control Unit.

i have a 2004 accord and the radio and climate controls dont light up,everything works fine but no lighting. all the fusses are ok. need some help any ideas on a fix and can i do it myself? read something about a bad cuircut board but not sure where thats located to find number to buy a replacement?
anyone that can help i would be very greatful!

What if there was no orange wires to hook up too
