Deck turns off/Resets when at peak volume. Help!
I have a 2009 Honda accord sedan 2.4L w/ alpine iva-w505, Mp Quarts inside speakers, alpine ktp-445, Two 12" Subs and a alpine mrp-m350. I'm having a weird problem w/ my deck, when I turn the volume up and it gets to its peak volume the deck turns off/resets but it only does it During the day time, when at night it works perfectly fine without shutting off/resetting at peak volume. Also I tried testing during the day time in park and it dosen't shut off, it only seems to do it when in drive. So I was wondering if anyone knew what was wrong? Is it Due to a lack of power? bad connection?
I also Put in a 180 amp high output alternator to see if it could solve the problem and it's helped a little but not completely solved the problem. Also i read somewhere that if the gain on the amp is turned too high it could cause the deck to turn off and the gain on my amp is 3/4 turned up but it makes no sense because it only turns off at peak volume during the day time and not at night. Do i Need a better amp to stop the resetting since my amp is only 700 watts pushing two 12"s? I was thinking of putting a better battery such as a red top battery but i wanted to get other opinions before i spent unnecessary money that wouldn't solve the problem. I'm completely lost so plz help!

Possible voltage drop issue. The headlights worsen voltage drop. Get a volt meter that plugsinto your 12V socket and report what the voltage is when it resets.
Max volume = max distortion. The KTP-445 isn't a great amp and has high distortion as-is. you don't have a high power system so you issue could also be poor grounding. Did you do the big 3? Pics of your grounds?

I used to get that too all the time on my cheap pioneer cd deck...after upgrading big 3 i can run full heat, hid's, and pump high volume and never get a problem. even in park. voltage is much more constant.
I second trying the big 3.
