fast blinking signal lights!
how do i make my signal lights blink so fast?
i heard you change the wires, but i dont wanna do it myself and mess it up is there a place to go to to do it for me? im from southern califoria im looking for a plce in the san gabriel area thanks... |
RE: fast blinking signal lights!
Most blinkers are reliant upon resistance for speed.... There is a small resistor that controls it (I don't know where it's at on your exact model) you can see this by simply removing a blinker light and watch the other one on the same side start blinking faster... So you need to figure out a way to decrease the resistance or get a different blinker switch thingy (how's that for technical jargon!)

I dont know of any shops that do that

RE: re:
If you want them to blink fast you could always replace the bulbs with one of l.e.d sockets (usally around 8 bucks)and they will last longer. Simply type in your bulb # on eBay and a few l.e.d ones should come up, but make sure they have a high MCD (brightness) rating. Also, don't install a Load Resistor with it and it will blink alot faster. Hope that helps!

RE: re:
your flasher in the steering column controls the rate of the blink. i dont think you should mess with it, any speed shop should be able to mess it up though.

I have a 95 accord and mine blink fast and dont know why? I checked everything?????

RE: re:
9 out of 10 times when your lights blink really fast I swear it's a light out or a bad ground.... the last possibility is the blinker relay as far as I'm concerned... or on occasion it could be the wrong bulb...
