Default Head Unit Removal

I had a JVC head unit installed in my daughter 2000 Accord a few months ago. I want to install a recently purchased Ipod interface.

Can someone explain what is involved in accessing the rear of the head unit to make that connection?

Do I need special tools? Or would it be better to go back to Best Buy and pay the $20?

if you got it installed at bestbuy, then go back and tell them you need the tools to get your headunit out, they keep them for some reason, they are 2 little brackets that silde in your fit kit. If you installed it, then you sould still have them in the box.

Pop the clock out, remove the screw behind the clock and the 2 screws at the bottom of the panel. It will pull off now exposing the HU which can be removed with 4 screws.

I popped the clock. It was a piece of cake. Thanks for the info. A little bit of know how makes the difference between something being easy and a pain in the rear.
