So I was on eBay just lookin around at the generic crap when something caught my eye... A HOD bulb. I hadn't heard of them until now, and after doing a bit of research I am more than a little intrigued. They look a little like HIR bulbs, but these are $13.59/pair whereas HIRs are around $55.

So I'm too curious to not buy a pair, as soon as I finish this post I'm going to do it, but I was wondering if anyone has heard of/used them before and what were your experiences.
