Ipod link

RE: Ipod link
do u have an aux input on the front of ur system? if so, the cable is like 6 bucks.. if not look up PIE Aux Input Converter.. its a unit that you can install yourself that allows you to have that aux input on a stock system.. its like under 100 bucks for the kit.
edit: forgot to ask what kind of stock system do you have.. is it the built in cd changer? navi system? i was looking it up after i posted and i guess their different kits.. Southgate also makes the kit.. from 60-100 bucks.. depending on if you want left and right inputs or the stereo 3.5mm jack (regular headphone jack size)

Just picked this up, it works well. But you have to control the iPod through the iPod itself. Easy to self install. Found instructions on line. It even comes with the y connector to keep the factory xm. Also, it only took 4 days to get to me with regular shipping and that includes the weekend downtime.

RE: Ipod link
Does anyone know if the the ipod link that adamch311 recommends disable either the stockXM Radio or stock 6 Disc CD Changer? I am currently running both and have heard that certain ipod links will have to disable one or the other for it to work. Can anyone confirm for me before I buy it?
Thanks!
Thanks!
