Default JL Audio or Boston Acoustics?

I want to upgrade the sound system in my 2010 Accord EX-L NAV. I have a local audio shop that has done me right on a remote start install in the past, but they are pushing JL Audio C5's on the four corners and a HD900/5 amp with a 8W3 subwoofer. I don't have experience with JL Audio, but I do have experience with Boston Acoustics Pro's. Can anyone comment on the pro's and con's of each system? Unfortunately, the only factory authorized Boston Acoustics shop in my area (JAX, FL) does not get very good reviews on their installs.

Gonna make a decision soon, so any feedback would be most appreciated!!

best to just audition the JL audio speakers. The C5's are ok in my opinion, good in that price bracket. I'd look at Hybrid Audio Technologies as well.

I also like Boston, and they are certainly different. New Boston is also different from old Boston.

What i've learned over the decades of auditioning speakers, is that every one sounds different - and the environment has a HUGE role in that.
