Yea, above 70 it takes a hit. That was with 100% gasoline, no ethanol, and cruise at 65. Held 40+ for over 200 miles. I was surprised. It held 37+ for the other 650 miles.

got the EX sail panel tweeter mounts in from HondaPartsDeals.
with the factory tweeter rings the opening is 1-7/16". without the opening is oddly cut and around 1-7/8".

The ML28 tweeters can fit in a number of ways. From behind using the factory rings or in place of the factory rings using Hertz mounts.

Knew it wouldn't be long before this started. I saw the thread a while back and have been trying to look for updates over the days - figured I'd post and subscribe so I don't miss anything.

just like it was meant to be, the ML28 fit in the factory mounts perfectly. i was concerned the depth of the ML28 would be an issue but there is a good 1/8" clear - enough for CCF on the sail metal behind the tweeter. these things don't even need adhesive.

I ordered Metra 70-1729 and 71-1729 wiring harnesses compatible with the factory radio. Sadly, the harness into the dash is missing 10 wires that the harness into the radio includes - they are for functionality of the factory system. I called Metra tech and they admitted the omission and recommended that I buy another 70-1729 harness so i can remove the wires with pins and use in the other harness to maintain functionality. They wouldn't tell me what pin to just buy, maybe dis assembly of the harness will give me a pin.

I will make a separate "how-to disassemble" thread.

This is where I want the head unit, i will have to cut out plastic at the back of the pocket

The center console comes out very easily and quickly

the factory radio has a nice collection of harnesses

I am bummed it's a Pioneer

the yard and the garden are the focus of this weekend. I have an 800 sq. ft. garden to turn, till, and prep. otherwise the car would be gutted right now.
