Low continous rumble?
alright, well i'm new here, but i've been reading up on some of the threads, and it looked good so i decided to join . well i have 2 12" JL Audio w3's in the trunk powered by the kenwood kac-7201 amp, with the pioneer deh-2700 as the headunit. alright so here's the problem, sometimes i just hear a low continuous rumble for the bass instead of a clean hit. this only happens to some songs but is there a way for me to fix it? i still want it to hit hard though.. thx

RE: Low continous rumble?
That rumble normally only happens when there is too much power going to the speakers. I have the pioneer deh 6600. It has a lot of fine adjustment settings for the signal (bass mid and treble) it is sending. Try turning the bass down gradually on the head until you get rid of it... That amp is still gonna pick up the low freqs without the head sending extra bass.
