I bought the JVC KD-G430 from Best Buy for $130. Installation and parts cost me around $50, then I bought the iPod adapter which cost another $50 and another $25 to install it andrun it through the glove box. So, I ended up paying in the ballpark of$255, while a Pioneer with all of the stuff could cost you up to $50 or $60 more. You might be thinking to yourself, I don't know about JVC and what about thesound quality and all that other stuff. Well, let me tell you, I have stock speakers and the sound quality is great. But, this unit could easily sound like a $500 deck with the right set of speakers. So, don't worry about the sound quality, it's great with stock speakers, but even better with anice set ofspeakers. So if you're just looking for a deck to put in to replace the old one and you don't want anything too fancy but you still want something that you can hook your iPod up to and all that stuff, then this definently the route to go. And if you want to redo the whole audio system in your car, this would still be a good choice, but if you are worried about sound quality, just invest in a good pair of speakers. It also comes with a remote that is the size of my thumb.

Yeah, I really want to get my windows tinted and I have the money now but my mom won't let me. And there's no way that I can say forget you I'm doing it because she is making me pay for half of my car insurance every six months.

 

why wouldn't she let you tint your windows? advise her it's to keep people from looking in the windows and seeing something then breaking the windows and stealing it... it's a safety feature...

 

Yeah, I tried telling her that but she still said, no, I don't think you should be dumping that much money intothat old of acar.

 

They just dont realize how much fun it is to dump money into a car though!

 

Tell her it doesnt matter how old the car is, you still have at least 100,000 miles to go on that sucker...

 

Yeah, I've told her that having 132,000 miles on that car is like having 35,000 or 40,000 miles on it almost, but she still doesn't care.

 

Dang. I guess Mom is kind of a harda$$ huh? Dont worry, my mom was like that too lol.

 

Yeah, she kind of is. But I still think that I'm going to get two Honda wings logos to put on the bottom left-hand corner of my right rear window and the bottom right-hand corner of my left rear window, but I just think that it would look cooler with tint.
