Well according to the pioneer website both the P Premiere 780MP and Pioneer 7800MP and 420$, but at each car audio store I go to the 780MP is atleast 50$ or so more expensive than the 7800, when the only real difference between the two is the 780MP has more equalizer options, but they both have the same quality when playing cd, radio...So if you see a 7800MP cheaper than the 780MP, I say go for the 7800MP the 780 is not worth the extra $$$

hopes this helped!

paid under 300 for the 780mp, installed it and all i can say is...... super sexilicous...... and to think, i bought it because i saw it and went, oooooh pretty ^_^ but yeah, the sub and in cab speakers sound so much cleaner..... shows what 7 years worth of car audio advancement can do.... or just paying an extra 400 back then /
