New tweeters fit in factory spot?
I haven't looked for new tweeters yet, but I did take one of mine out to see the size and how it was fitted in. Looks like a one inch tweeter. So if I get an aftermarket one inch tweeter can I expect it to fit?
What worries me is not the diameter, but the thickness because of the bracket holding the factory tweeter in place.

i use plumbers straps - you can buy it at any hardware store. it's flexible metal with holes in it.
you can easily cut it with tin snips or just bend it several times. you can bend it with your fingers. that way you can use the factory tweeter mounts and support any aftermarket tweeter.
this also allows you to return them to stock without cutting anything. don't cut anything without being prepared to buy it again if you sell the car. if you do want to buy replacements, hondapartsdeals.com has the hook up.

Awesome! I would have never come across a handy tool like that. Thanks!
I won't have to cut anything. But in the event that I did, one of my friends can get me anything Honda related that I want, and most of the little pieces like that for free.

Nope. I originally feared the same thing, because the speaker covers in the doors require the removal of the panel. Nut in the case of the tweeters, this doesn't apply.
Just carefully pull up on the cover. Use a small flat head screw driver if you can't get your hand in there good enough. (I had to, because the space between the windshield and dash was to minimal.)
When you pull up, the cover will come off and the tweeter is attach to it via two screws.
