Default Radio Unit Problems on my imported Accord

hi guys, recently imported a Honda Accord from Japan, and i am facing a HUGEE issue!!! my radio/navigation unit seems to be locked, a japanese message appears on the screen that states " Please insert disk" i have chatted in other forums and apparently Honda gives you a dvd software disk when u purchase your car, mine was imported second hand so i did not get that disk! does anyone know where i can download such disk? I live in South Africa very far away heheheh kind of hard to get stuff for the japanese import cars this side!

I've moved this to the audio section in efforts to get you a better answer.

First thing anyone will need to know.....what year is this car?

Honda Access is a system we don't have in the States. There isn't much I can help you with on it.

JDM 2002 is closer to our 2003-2004 U.S. Accords.

Importing cars with premium factory Navi systems is usually a troublesome affair. I suspect the DVD wouldn't include South Africa anyway.

I recommend pulling the factory NAVI system, selling it online, and buying one from your area - then re-wire as best you can.
