i have a 2007 sedan and im determined to build a drawer with drawer slides hanging from the underside of the rear deck but the accord design is not making this a very easy task. Has anyone done this, and most importantly do you have pictures of it? The tension bars that open and hold up the trunk door are the main hurdle here.

 

you can remove the tension bars and install helper rods instead.
That will free up the room you are looking for.
Seems like a lot of work but good luck and post some pictures of your work for us.
