Default Sub power help

I have a Visionik powered sub in my trunk with the wires attached. I put it in today, but when i run my car the light for power doesent turn on. I changed the fuse for the amp with no sucess. I know its your all gonna tell me its big no no, but im running the power wire through the side of the hood near the door, than under the panel, than to my trunk. The Wire that i baught was to short to run to my battery, so i had to buy another wire and cut it and connect it to the fuse to the battery. I over checked the ground wire and RCA's and their all fine. I just can't figure out why theres no power going to my sub. The fuse on the power wire is brand new as well. Help would be appreciated. Thnx btw-its a 95 accord

Here are some pics:

its funny a buddy at work had the same problem, same car, we just couldnt figure it out, i think it might be the ground make sure you have a connection, take a voltmeter and test the votage between the postive bat>amp and the neg amp>frame, you should get at least 10 volts

I would double check the wire your using for the remote signal... sometimes people connect them to the amp/power antenna wire, and the car has no wire for that... it has happened to me before... try the red(switched power) behind the deck.
