ok i popped the speaker grills off and there i see like 5.25" coaxials. wen all ive heard is that i have 6x9s. its not a big hassle bc its easy enough to fit in my 6x9s but im just like WTF.

6.5"s arrived in the mail today and now im fearfull that those might not fit. will they?

 

Thats weird. Maybe the previous owner replaced the 6x9s with different speakers? My rears are definitely 6x9. Maybe the EX had a different sound system?

I disagree. If you get good 6x9s, they sound fine. And they are usually louder. I like 6.5s up front, sure, but I wouldnt ever get rid of my 6x9s in the rear deck for anything.

 

i got crystal mobile sound ssx series. 6.5 fronts and 6x9 so itl def sound good. its runnin off deck power ne ways

 

I remember working on my friends 95 accord. He defiantly had 6x9s, we pulled 6x9s out and put new ones in. Did you get it used or are you the original owner? Most prolly the previous owner for w/e reasons put other speakers in the rear.

Yup, ive got a 07 and mine were 6x9's as well. Are your new speakers oval as well? If so there are adapter kits for cheap.
