Hey guys, im plannin to tint my tail lights for the summer.

i dont want the tail light really blacked out, i still want to see the 'outline' between the turning lights + reverse light and the break lights.

as the title said, film or paint?
i have seem many DIY videos about spray painting the tail lights using black paint and clear coat
i have also seen many DIY videos about tinting the lights with the tint film.

so all you enthusiasts out there, which one is better off for the long run:
Paint, or film ??

 

VHT NIGHTSHADES!!!!!!!!!!!! This is a translucent black paint made specifically for plastics... It is 11 us dollars at any automotive store...

 

i used tint and it wont rub Off or fade thATS A PLUS i love tint but lense tint at autozone you can make it as dark as you want without picking out a set darkness online

 

oh lense tint being spray tint or nightshade

thanks for the help, VHT nite shade is what im going to get, but sadly i live in Canada and its illegal here =\ i guess ill have to find a similar product or order online
