Default Decal Question

My boy bought me the large, "H" decal for my rear window. I live in the northeast and soon will need to use my electric de-icer, will it peel off? The end result is also that scraping off ice would also scrape off the decal, right? Thoughts / suggestions?

I'd say if you live in the northeast and you're worried about these problems, buy a car cover haha. itll be real easy to get snow off then. also i would think itd be okay to use the electric deicer, the outside temp would be cold enough to keep the glue intact. I live in the cleveland area and have never heard of any problems with losing a back sticker to a window deicer... just make sure the window is TOTALLY clean before applying. use windex and steel wool on the window first to make sure its clean, wipe off with a cloth towel (not newspaper) to completely clear off anything on the window

The only time I've ever had issues with decals peeling or chipping away was after repeated use of a manual scraper. Part of it was just me being impatient and not letting the deicer do it's job. But you should be fine as long as you don't scrape around the corners of the decal. And my decal didn't start wearing away until about 4 years after I put it on.
