does it matter?
does it matter what brand you use for hid conversion kits?
i saw this on ebay
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/HID-X...spagenameZWDVW
its only like 115 altogether. i think the brand is called xentec. has anyone heard this brand before and is it worth it to buy a cheap converter or should i save up to get a better one?

RE: does it matter?
If you are going to be doing a HID conversion make sure it is digital because a analog HID conversion could have one of the lights brighter than the other so if you want them to look as good as possible then spend the money on a good digital kit

RE: does it matter?
also, you may want to look for safety items. My kit turns on the bulbs a split second apart to reduce the electrical spike. It also has reverse polarity protection (I'd say this is worthless since it is powered by stock harnesses). As mentioned, it is also a digital setup that varies the power to the bulbs so they produce the same amount of light (so it says on the box). I paid $220 for my setup, but that doesn't mean that it couldn't be had cheaper.
Also, that line about the "focused bulbs" to reduce glare is complete BS. The focus comes from your fixture, so the kit has nothing to do with the refraction and glare. Good luck! HID's are a great upgrade!
Oh yeah ..... they mention that 6000k is white, it isn't. 4800k is white. I have 5000k and it's mostly white with a bit of blue when viewing from any angle (Link to pics below).
