Default Film on Windows

I have my Honda Accord for almost 1 year and I really, really like my car. There is one problem however, there is a greasy film on my windows that I can not remove, nor can the guys at the auto detail shop remove. When you try to clean the windows you mostly just move the grease around. This film builds up very quickly. I find this very frustrating especially when I drive at night. Has anyone else had this problem? Can it be related to having leather seats put in? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I' m new to this forum so I hope I posted this correctly. Thanks!

Inside or outside?

Use a degreaser like Purple Power or Simple Green, but I have never tried it on glass, so try it on a small spot first. That should remove it.

degreaser(purple power is my favorite) or goo gone, need to scrub it longer than just one minute, otherwise you think you got it all and then the film reappears a week later.

I will definitely check out those 2 products. And you're right, that film comes right back after a week. Very frustrating. Thanks!

Another question. Do you smoke in the car? Here is the process you can take, that should get rid of your problem. Buy some Purple Power degreaser, some invisible glass glass cleaner(only stuff I use), and a sponge like you would use for doing dishes. You can get all of this at your local automotive store.
1. Clean all infected windows with the invisible glass.
2. Take the sponge and put some of the purple power on it. If you have tinted windows you will need to dilute it.
3. Scrub vigorously for 5 minutes on each infected window.
4. Wipe off all degreaser.
5. Clean all windows with the invisible glass.
6. Take the sponge and put purple power on it again, and scrub all windows one more good time.
7. Clean windows with the invisible glass one more time.

No, I don't smoke. This film seems to have started when I swapped out my cloth seats for leatherette. I clean and clean the windows and the film comes right back. Very nasty looking. I will buy the products you suggest and give it my best shot. Thanks again.
