Question Front bumper replacement

I just took my car to the Honda body shop which is down the street from the dealership, who referred me to them. They want $1000 and 3 days to replace and paint my front bumper which had an intimate encounter with a curb in a parking lot. After I pushed my bulging eyes back in my head and picked my jaw up from the ground, I came home, ate lunch, and here I am now. Any suggestions for a cheaper alternative that doesn't require me to spend all day driving around the boonies scavenging the pick n pull lots? It is a major dent on the right side of the bumper; can it just be popped back out? (probably not)

Check youtube videos for "dentless paint repair". There's a good one on bumper repair. Heat to warm (not too much!) is key.

good luck

post some pics, plastic bumpers can be reformed back into place most of the time, but will still mostly need repainted , but if your looking for a cheap fix, take a heat gun and heat up the area on your bumper a bit and push it out from the backside, the majority of it will come back to life, like i said post some pics, we can help more if we see what exactly you are dealing with
