Car was just painted. long story short I park in my complex where I normally dont. wake up in the morning and the sprinklers got me. only problem is the water is so hard here in houston they wont come off. Ive tried washing and waxing but to no avail. any advice and none about that water vinegar mixture, tried that too didnt work Id apreciate some help fellas you are all pretty good at answering these kinds of questions for me. Thanks.

 

dude a clay bar kit by mothers will take care of any finish problem u have. it makes my car feel like glass

 

I used come polich and a drill pad and it worked good but Ill take your advice and just do my whole car and then wax it. Thanks man!!!

 

does the clay bar remove any clear coat problems I might have like spider webbing and fogginess in my clear coat on my hood?

Im guessing a clay-bar system would do the job but it WILL be a lot of work. Sounds like you are washing it the correct way so once those spots are gone, get good coat of the wax of your choice on it, and you should be good to go.As an aside, I have heard that white vinegar will remove hard water spots but I am NOT advocating washing a car with it Perhaps some spot treatment using a soft cloth would get them up unless you have a lot of them and its back to the clay-bar.

 

Before going to the clay bar, try using white vinegar first. After a normal washing, use a 50/50 mix first 9 (with water). Then go full strength if necessary. Rinse completely.
