Wax it...

Maybe if you really want to keep it looking nice, some brands dont have a good clearcoat on them so it might be a good idea to take it to a body shop and have them put a few coats of clear on it as an added protection.

That's a very good point. Many of the ones I've seen were still young and the clearcoat was already starting to come off.

Definately keep it waxed and out of the sun when possible.... They will fade somewhat over time if exposed to sun. But ive had mine for 3 years and it doesnt show signs of fading. I did buy it from Erebuni though so its high grade

Stop posting the same thing on all sorts of threads. Scratch X is for plastic, so it doesn't apply here. It appears that you are not even reading the threads that you are posting to given the recommendations that don't apply and also offering advice on a thread that has been dead for almost half a year. If your intent is anything other than to spam the threads here, type something meaningful and original.

Like posted before waxing it does reduce wears and oxidation. However, choose your wax carefully. Some wax have betterUV protection then others, and some shine is better than others, if large water dropplet formation is not there, it does NOT mean your wax coat is gone. You can layer wax "if you want to"

I understand Young Lemon is spamming. However, I have to correct you on some details. His list is not "right" but is not completely "wrong" You should wash your car with 2 bucket system with grit guard, you should clay the car when it's needed, you "can" use paint cleaner such as scratchX AFTER you claybar the area. Note: ScratchX is for paint and is a paint cleaner with micro abrasive that should be apply by hand unless it's the new scratchX which is DA safe. Pure polish such as Meguair's #7 should be apply and whipe off after paint cleaner is applied. plastic area should be tapped off and Wax should be apply in the end. Then some Meguair's Final inspection would make a shine like never before.

I prefer the no-bucket system, Wet Paint Glaze or detailer spray. Final inspection is awesome for shows and to impress poeple, but it doesn't last at all.

Also different type of wax like canbula wax and synthetic sealant "wax" have different chemical bond and thus creating different melting point and different shine. Look into this if you guys are interested, especially those of you who excel in chemistry.
