if this thing is FWD, i seriously doubt you are going to get 8 seconds out of it.....

i seriously doubt that that block will handle 1000hp ......

dont hate...

the block doesent have to deal with much... its all on the sleeves... the bottom end will be rock solid so im not going to throw anything...

and 8 seconds out of a FWD isent that hard... a 300 HP FWD runs high 9s

the suspension is all that matters... and thats were the air comes in...

stop being so pecimistic

I don't know if you'd want to throw that much money into an accord engine. You could buy another car and build it into a monster with the kindof money you'd need. If you really want to do it I wish you luck but, it's going to be very hard. Keep in mind that the 260whp STIs run low/mid 13s and those are all wheel drive cars. Then my buddies rwd 330 hp V8 only runs high 12s.

pay close attention to your gear ratio's.... that's going to play a big part as well. Search the forum or go online and find a drag calculator or Horsepower calculator and a good one will give you gear ratio's... I know that it's do-able I just don't know the specifics of what you'll need (size wise).... Pay close attention to your rims and hubs so nothing snaps there, chain the engine to the frame.... does the outside of the car have to be 100% stock? if not then use an Idea I saw elsewhere and make the mirrors fold back for less drag... that way they are functional but also drop down for racing.... Carbon fiber/fiberglass is your friend!

yeah, 10k rpms is going to be the only way to run 40+psi only problem is if you stroke it and run 10k rpms your going to hit that little unhappy point where the car cant safely maintain the rpm's for the stroke its at, depending on how much you stroke it of course

I'm gonna have to agree with the charge piping and exhaust size choices...
you say you want to keep the pressure up? you realize that pressure = heat...right?
try to find some flow calculators...but I do believe you'll need some 3"+ charge piping, a BAD ASS intercooler and probably 3.5"+ turbo back exhaust.

its gonna need to flow LOTS of air!

what is allowed in the bet as far as making the car lighter? thats gonna be a good thing too... if you can drop enough weight, you could probably get away with 800 whp :p

only CF is hood must have 2 seats... must be street legal... must run on DOT drag radials smaller than 15 inches...

this is for the fastest uniboy accord in the world basicly

and the reason i can turn 10k with the stroker becayse i could make a non stroked hit 13k easy...
remember everything is taken down to its minimum ultra light weight...

You should do a simple calculation of balance of forces and moments.

1) How high off the ground is the vehicle center of gravity? (Including all your extra equipment)
2) What's the wheelbase? (I know I can look that up in specs...)
3) Using 1 & 2, what acceleration will cause the front wheels to lift? Just a reality check to find out if you're finished before you start...

here's some HP calculators to mess with..... this should give you a slightly more accurate idea of what you need....

well im not sure of my tire diameter ... but its looking like im going to have to hit 2000 pounds and 1000 HP and that will hit 7.99

and trust me the wheels wont be lifting...
