2001 Accord 5 speed MPG
I just got back from a 1000 mile round trip over a 3 day period.
I have a 2001 Accord EX5 sp with Vtec engine.
I checked my MPG after 3 fill ups and noticed that I started at 30 MPG and ended at 32 MPG.
This is the best I've ever seen on this Accord since owning it for the last year.
The only thing I did before I left on the trip was to check tire pressure and cleaned and regapped spark plugs to 0.035".
**you committed the mortal sin and spelled it "vtech" so I fixed it for you** - lx5spd

I have a H22 in storage but i'm somewhat building it up as you might say...that and plus the way these gas prices are going,it is not looking like a smart move on my part...

2000 LX 5spd f23a1 (vtec):
I have gotten 35 mpg on the highway before
Normally I get between 29 - 30 doing mostly stop & go city driving
On my last fillup I only got around 27 mpg though
I think it may have something to do with my new tires.

Jon, you committed another mortal sin and spelled it "Vtec", you should change it to the correct spelling since you are a stubborn mod now. VTEC.
Actually I spelled it "vtec". I'm not an allcaps kind of guy. Plus I like to spell it in lower case letters so people don't see me as if I am screaming VTEC! like it is some sort of awsome power booster or something.
**woops I accidentally hit the "edit" button instead of the "quote" button.I guess that would be considered a n00bmoderror - oh well...one less post for my post count
