2002 Honda Accord EX Engine Swap
I'm looking to do an engine swap on a 4 door 2002 4 cyl. Honda Accord EX I herd the h22 and the k24a2 are good engines to use but I don't know where to buy them. Where can I find a new or lightly used one and how much total would the engine swap cost

If your state has emissions and inspections than you will need an obd2 H22, meaning 96 or newer.
You could get an H22A4 out of a 97-01 prelude but it has to be out of a base model not a type SH.
If you don't have a state inspection, than you could get any year H22(92-01)
I will say this because you haven't purchased anything yet, F22(and F23s) like boost, they respond well to it. With the money you are spending on an H22 swap you could afford to turbo your stock engine. You will make more power with the turbo than with the H22.
Also if your engine eventually blows F23s are cheap to replace, H22s are not cheap to replace.
That is just my opinion.

^ I completely agree with everything Cameron said. He's right, and I also agree because I have an F23 engine in my car as well.. Boosted.
Hey Cam - we both have CD5's now! I just got one recently too, 1995 EX-L 5MT 170k.

I think the only "kit" you would find would be a turbonetics, but I would advise against them. Almost anyone that does a turbo set up pieces the kit together on their own.
Then you could buy an HKS turbo, BOV, wastegate etc if you wanted.

If you google "turbonetics turbo kit accord" you will find some kits.
I would just buy all the pieces separately so you can get whatever brand you want IE the manifold, turbo, intercooler, blow off valve, wastegate etc. All you would really need that is specific to your car is the manifold, all the rest are generic.
