Default 2006 Honda Accord

Hey I am new to the import car business. I am just trying to find some good mods and performance parts to put on my car to get some good gains out of it. And if putting 18 inch wheels will help or hinder the performance of the ride. And thinking about lowering the car about 1.5 inches too. And also looking for some good websites to get quality parts for the engine and upgrade it. I am mainly looking for intake, turbos, fuel system, and exhaust parts. I am wanting to try and get this ride up to 300+ hp. Its a 2006 LX 3.0 V6 sedan. I am not really looking for the high pitch exhaust tone. Just a good steady rumble and have the car look stock as much as I can. Any help in this matter will help out thank you.

If you're going for looks, 18 inch wheels would be sweet, but heavier wheels will onlyslow you down. Your car stock is 245 hp; not a bad start. If you really want to make 300+ hp, bolt-ons won't do the trick. A turbo (if one is made yet) for your car would get you up there.

4shizzlebizzle, Hey thanks for the help there. I think I am going to go with the 18" wheels there. And lower the car at the least 1.5". I have yet to see a turbo for the car out there on the market. The primary one I have been seeing out there have only been up to 02 models. But yea I was knowing that I would have to do engine mods to get it up to 300+. But the turbo will be one of the later parts I put on there. I want to change out the heads, rods, cams, heads, and manifold. And even the basics everyone always gets CAI, and exhaust. Then I will hit up the turbo and intercooler and hopefully by then too they will have a chip for it too.

check out cardomain.com and look at the rim/tire combos on the 7th gen accord sedans... that's a good place to see what your ride would look like... the 18's shouldn't rob too much power, but it will takeat most 1 mpgoff your city mpg...
