Ok, for staters... I know little to nothing about when it comes to engine swaps... I can keep up with conversation though.. but bare with me..
It's a super long story and I have gone over it 20x with 4 other mechanics and I've lost my patience as I need my car back up and running so don't ask why I am doing this engine swap, it just needs to happen. (Current Engine is Inoperable)
Right now my 2016 Honda Accord EX-L 3.5L V6 Coupe has the J35Y1 engine in it, and I will if I have to replace it with the exact same engine....however... who doesn't want something better that maybeeee could have even more power? Hopefully?
Pretty much what I am asking is what engine could I swap for in this car that will maybe give me even more power, or even a better engine to do further upgrades in?
I am going to be that crazy person that will eventually drop wayy to much money into this car when probably 90% people will tell me to just go out and buy a different car.. I have my reasoning so again, we can totally skip the lecture lol.

My boyfriend is set on just putting the same engine in it, and hes probably right because it's already been down for so long we need something easy.. but you never know, I am hoping someone else has done something like this or has the knowledge about this engine that has another option for me..
