93 accord engine swap
Hey i got a 93 accord lx sedan and right now it has the stock f22 im looking to do a swap and i have no idea what engine to use. i know the h22 will fit nice and give me a nice boost but im looking at either and j30a with the DOHC vtec or the j32, i was even thinking the k20a but thats a little pricey and ideas on how or if any of these will fit? j30a is my #1 option as of now and just need some input on what to do

the v6 will be tons of money and modifications. k24 will cost you ALOT to swap also. Ask "live2rice" he bailed on his k24 swap b/c it was way too expensive.
Your best bet will be a h22a. Fairly simple to swap and if you need more info go take a look at cb7tuner.com That site is all about 4th gen accords. More than enough info on just about any swap that is worth doing.
Searching is your best friend
...ohh btw it's "vtec" not "vtech" vtech is a phone company

the v6 wont cost alot of money the engine and tranny are gonna run about 2000 and i have the equipment and people to put it in, im going for the most power. the one problem i have is im not sure if im going to have to do major modifications to get it to fit. i assume some will have to be done. the k24 will be much more to get than the j30a. and haha yeah sorry about that

If you want power build and boost a h22. Will be cheaper in the long run and you can make killer power when built. I have a few friends with boosted h22's that are in the 400+ hp range. Also my friend Brian has a 650+ hp h22.
The prob. with the v6's there isn't much after market support. So all your internal work will be hella expensive. stock for stock a h22 will walk a v6 all day long. Even know the v6's make more power. h22 has shorter gears and a higher rev limiter than the v6. It's not how much power you have to go fast..it's how you apply the power to the ground.
found this too....I didn't read much as its 30-something pages long
