theres a place locally that sells e85. i was just curious if i could run e85 in my 94 accord. its a little cheaper than gas right now. also, what is the gas tank size for a 94 accord? i beleive my gauge is messed up, everytime its showingempty its on 12 gallons but i thought i read somewehre the tank is 17 gallons? thanks

 

It looks like it's a 17 gallon tank.... new news to me... I thought it was roughly 13 or 14 and always wondered why my fuel light never came on and then it'd take 12.xx gallons to fill it.... apparently I wasn't running it low enough *L* my guage doesn't work worth crap either.... here's where I got the info, apparently these fuel guages stink

I'd imagine it's just a calibration issue.... I'm not 100% sure though if anyone else has some insight to shed on this or a 94-97 accord with the same problem I'd be interested to see what the suggestions besides calibration are...

My gauge looks just about empty at about 12gallons.

I dont think you can run E85 on your Accord. From what i know, you have to get your engine retrofited to use E85

 

NO & NO!!!!!!! Do not run E85. Even the newest Honda engines will only accept E10.

 

Same with my gauge, but I have never had my gas light come on either. I read it was 17 gallons, i think it says it in the manual. So is it really 17 gallons or what?

 

yea the manual says "17.04" gallons

 

I've run mine down to the light before, and then put in almost 14 gallons. And the light comes on when you have three gallons left, I believe, so thats about right. But yeah, usually I fill mine up when its close to or on the E line, and I pump 11-13 gallons, depending on just how low it was.
