ok so i'm doing a swap, a sohc vtec accord engine into my 94 DX...ok...so i was talking to the mechanic, for some reason he said that he will not be able to make the vtec work...something about the harnesses not being the same or something...i know he's a mechanic, but i wanted to clarify this with this forum. i mean if i could make it work, how would i go about doing this? thanks

 

You have to run the wires. need a vtec ecu also.

 

If you do not want to do that, the engine will run just fine like I pointed out in the other thread. Most of the 15Hp comes directly from the Intake and exhaust header anyways.....
