94 EX 5MT Noise
Ok, so I've finally gotten back onto the Manual wagon, as it were, although, ironically, I sold my wagon.
Anyways, I haven't driven manual in about a year and a half, although much to my surprise, I got right back into the flow immediately (hooray for me!)
I learned to drive on a stick (my mother's 2001 Accord EX) and maybe it just was me not paying attention, but I don't remember hearing the noise that I hear now.
The noise I hear now is like a clicking/ clanking when I disengage the clutchand re-engage the gasafter up-shifting. There might also be a very slight jolt in the car, but I feel that it is more likely my over-active car-hypochondriac immagination at work. The sound seems to be coming from the gearbox area.
I don't think it occurs during down-shifting, but I don't know, because I rev the engine to keep it smooth.
I have accidentaly ground the gears twice since I've had the car, and mis-shifted today getting on the highway (I was distracted and stressed, so I hit 20mph, engaged the clutch and just kinda coasted for a few seconds)
Any ideas?
