hello all,

New to the board. Have a question about my girlfriend's 98 Accord LX w/ 132,000 miles. Her check engine light is constantly coming on. She will take it to get diagnosed from Honda, but there is usually nothing wrong with the car. They turn the light off, but it will reappear in a few months, but nothing will be wrong wiith the car.
Is this a recognized problem with this model year Accord?

yes the egr valve passage is clogged. should read code p0401 low egr flow. honda knows about it and has issued a warranty extension to 80k miles. looks like your gf car is out of warranty though. it only costs 200 bucks to get it done though no biggie.
